IVF has been practiced at the clinic since 1997. Dr. Gwét-Bell, associated with a team of 3 gynecologists and 2 biologists, participated in the birth of Tommy, the first baby born by IVF in Central Africa on April 14th, 1998.

IVF has been practiced at the Odyssey Clinic since 1997. Dr. Gwét-Bell, associated with a team of 3 gynecologists and 2 embryologists, participated in the birth of Tommy, the first baby born by IVF in Central Africa on April 14th, 1998. This team was trained by Dr. Guy Cassuto from the Drouot laboratory in Paris.

The Odyssée Medical Clinic was the first IVF center in Cameroon and in Central Africa (Insemination, In Vitro Fertilization, ICSI). It is at the forefront of IVF techniques with ICSI in HIV-positive couples
